At this moment of introspection, a wise gardener appeared beside the pond. He was an older man, with deep wrinkles etched across his sun-kissed skin, each line telling stories of countless seasons spent tending to this mysterious place. His eyes, an unusual shade of pale green, twinkled with kindness and wisdom. A wide-brimmed straw hat shaded his face, and his clothes were simple but well-kept—a faded blue shirt rolled up at the sleeves, and earth-toned trousers tucked into worn leather boots. He carried a small, well-worn book in one hand, its pages slightly frayed at the edges.

"Welcome, traveler," he said, his voice gentle yet authoritative. "I see you are beginning to understand the nature of this garden."

Robin nodded, eager to learn more. The gardener smiled and began to explain. "This garden is a reflection of your mind. The illusions you encounter here represent the ways in which your mind can sometimes mislead you. For instance, the bridge that vanished represents how we often only notice things that confirm what we already believe, missing out on important details. And the bitter fruit," he continued, a knowing glint in his pale eyes, "is like the way we sometimes let one strong impression influence all our other thoughts—much like how you judged the fruit by its looks alone, only to be surprised by its true taste."
